All 6th grade students take Music for one quarter as part of the Unified Arts rotation.  6th grade music emphasizes music reading, writing, performing, and the history of Hip-Hop music. Students are engaged in the three artistic processes, creating, performing, and responding to music, throughout the quarter-long session. Grading is based upon classwork, projects, quizzes, and class performance.
