In grade 4, music students will participate in a variety of musical experiences in the areas of: singing, movement, instrument playing, listening, notation reading and creating.

The students perform and listen to music as a group. They develop skills through pitch matching, echo singing, part singing, body percussion, games, percussion instruments and guided activities in listening, improvising and musical notation. Students identify musical instruments and their families.

Students are assessed through individual and group observation of their participation, effort, performance skills and written evaluations.
