MUSIC DEPARTMENT SPRING TRIP

Southern California with “Monarch of the Seas”
April 12-19, 2007

The Lewis S. Mills High School Spartan Band, Color Guard and Concert Choir have begun to plan for a spring performance tour to the West Coast. Pending Board of Education approval, this very exciting performance/sight-seeing tour is planned for Saturday, April 12, through Saturday, April 19, 2008. This trip will be made via commercial airline with local transportation provided by lav-equipped motor coach. In addition, there will be a five-day, four-night cruise included aboard the Royal Caribbean Ship “Monarch of the Seas”. The trip will take place during our April recess and will not require the students to be excused from any school time.

The main purpose of the trip is for the students to participate in adjudication and performance events to be held on and off the ship and at the Disneyland theme parks. These activities will be decided upon and scheduled as the date for the trip draws closer and final arrangements are made.

Communications will be sent to you as email attachments and will be posted on this web page of our website for those who have a problem downloading the attachments. Please contact us as soon as possible if these methods do not work for you and other arrangements need to be made. You can always be added to our e-mail list by logging on to our website and clicking the link that says “Email Server”. You can then put your address onto any of our email lists you like.
