Jill Nedorostek  currently teaches the beginning instrumental lessons and beginning bands at Lake Garda Elementary School and Harwinton Consolidated School.

Mrs. Nedorostek began her music teaching career as an elementary vocal music teacher in the Bristol School system. After Bristol, she directed the bands at Wooster Jr. High School in Stratford, Ct for seven years and the beginning bands at thirteen elementary schools in Stratford also. She left teaching for six years when her son Allan was born 

Mrs. Nedorostek returned to teaching in 1986 as band director at Lake Garda in Burlington, CT where she taught 4th Gr. Beginning Band, 5^th Gr. Advanced Band and Jazz Band. In 2007, the 5^th grade was moved out of the elementary school and Mrs. Nedorostek added Harwinton Consolidated School to her schedule.

In 2000, Mrs. Nedorostek was named “Teacher of The Year” at Lake Garda School.

Mrs. Nedorostek currently lives in Harwinton, Connecticut with her husband Jack who was also band director at Harwinton Consolidated School for 33 years.
